1. ALPI Training (Geneva, CH)

Client

ALPI Training is an AI-powered endurance training app created by health and sports professionals, offering personalized endurance programs with prevention and re-athleticism plans. Developed by a Swiss start-up, the app was launched in 2023 after more than two years of research and algorithm development with EPFL-associated partner Squarefactory. The app reached thousands of downloads in its first quarter, with highly rated user feedback and compatibility with major fitness platforms and wearables.

Initial problem

The developers made a first logo, color system and app design, but the CEO wanted a more contemporary and coherent visual direction. At that point, there was no dedicated marketing or communication team in place and they needed to build an entire brand, starting with the brand identity.

My role

I co-directed the global brand identity across the logo, app, website, social media, and merchandise. I redesigned the interface to emphasize performance and progress tracking. As the team grew, I coordinated freelance designers, worked closely with developers on wireframes and UI assets, and collaborated on an ongoing basis with marketing and photography teams (5+ people), reporting directly to the CEO.
